Welcome to My Personal Page
Thank you for supporting me in the 23rd Annual Hospice Memorial Walk in support of Hospice Buffalo.
Please consider walking with me at Canalside, downtown Buffalo, on Sunday, May 19, 2019 as we walk to keep Hospice care going in Erie County!
If you are not able to Walk, I hope you'll support my fundraising efforts by making a donation to my Walk page.
Hospice Buffalo provides exceptional care and life enhancing services for seriously ill patients and those who share their lives. Did you know? Hospice Buffalo provides comfort and care to more than 900 patients a day in homes, hospitals, nursing homes and at the Hospice Mitchell Campus in Cheektowaga.
I am walking in memory of my husband Mike and my sister Anita who died December, 23rd 2011. My husband died December 10, 2018 from a rare cancer, angioimmunoblastic T Cell lymphoma. We went through 14 months of hope to hopes dashed, I'm forever grateful Hospice was there for us. These are the most caring, wonderful people who during the most vulnerable, difficult time in our lives were there 24/7 guiding us through. They honored Mike, a US Navy veteran, with an American flag which was so heartfelt for me and my daughters to witness the respect paid to him one last time was something I will never forget. The aftercare for families is second to none with grief counseling in groups or individually whice have meant the world to me when my world was falling apart. I know I am not alone in appreciation of Hospice Buffalo and even though you hope to never need it, be thankful it's here for you. Please consider supporting my Hospice Memorial walk with a donation so they can keep doing their incredible work. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Love, Margie
