Welcome to My Hospice Memorial Virtual Walk Page
This past March my Grandpa passed away under Hospice care. He lived a long and full life, filled with doing things he enjoyed most - spending time with family, sharing stories, cooking delicious home-made meals, tending to his garden and so much more.
Towards the end of his life our family decided it was time for him to go into Hospice. My Grandpa was under hospice care for 13 days before he passed away in the HIU. While he was there our family was able to spend his final days with him, surrounding his bedside sharing stories and just sitting holding his hand.
Being able to spend that time with my Grandpa is something I will always be greatful for and I know my family would say the same. We all knew my Grandpa was in the best place possible, a place where he was comfortable and safe.
